Elayne Nicholas
April 6, 1953 - November 6, 2020
Sometimes you meet someone who leaves an indelible mark on your life. This is the case with Elayne Nicholas. A passionate fundraiser and our Stewart Park Playground campaign manager, but most of all, a dear friend to all of us at FSP, Elayne passed away November 6th. We already miss her laughter, her political jabs, and her inimitable personality. Elayne's intelligence and savvy guided our work these past many years and will continue to do so. She loved her family deeply and our hearts go out to them at this terrible loss. You can read more about Elayne and and her incredible life in her obituary here.
Friends of Stewart Park will be honoring Elayne by naming the new Playground Lending Library and Information Kiosk in her memory.
