Dear Friends,
While for some reason I was expecting the first day of spring tomorrow, I’ll happily celebrate it today since the sun’s shining and it’s slowly warming up! As spring approaches I often feel a combination of excitement about getting outside and working in the garden, tempered with some trepidation about having to get outside and work in the garden. Thankfully, excitement wins out.
Get Inspired!: FSP is kicking off spring with an engaging and informative presentation by Mary Ellen Lemay on the growing Pollinator Pathway initiative, one that Friends of Stewart Park joined earlier this month. Join us on Zoom this Wednesday evening, March 22 - learn more and register below.
Get To Work! This Saturday morning, March 25th, from 10 am to 12 noon, FSP is leading its annual Waterfront Cleanup: litter pickup and cutting back native perennials and grasses in Stewart Park and along the Waterfront Trail. Details below.
Hope to see you at one or both of these upcoming events! Enjoy the sun while it lasts!
