The Splash Pad opens this week!

The new Stewart Park Splash Pad’s first full day is the 4th of July!

Come play! Get wet! Cool off!

In honor of the grand opening of the new Splash Pad and Playground Bathroom, as well as Stewart Park’s 103rd birthday, there will be free carousel rides all day sponsored by Friends of Stewart Park!

FSP is hosting a ribbon cutting for the Splash Pad and Playground Bathroom this Wednesday, July 3rd, with remarks by representatives from the City of Ithaca, Tompkins County, and New York State. A huge thank you to Parkitects and Edger Enterprises for all their hard work on this big project!

The Stewart Park Splash Pad was made possible by an Environmental Protection Fund grant administered by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation; and support from New York State through Assemblymember Anna Kelles; Tompkins County Tourism Program; the City of Ithaca, and private donations.

Thank you to everyone who supported this project!
