Join FSP Saturday, May 3, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for I Love My Park Day! We’ll have a variety of projects to help prepare the park for summer. Dress for the weather and wear good shoes or boots. Feel Free to bring rakes, clippers or gardening tools, but we also have many available. This is an all ages event! Meet by the Wharton Building (DPW).
If you can, please register with Parks & Trails New York.

We’re Looking for a Golf Cart |

| Friends of Stewart Park is on the hunt for a used golf cart to help us with park tours and light maintenance!
A golf cart would make a huge difference by providing guided tours for visitors with mobility challenges, transporting supplies for volunteer projects, and assisting with light maintenance to keep the park beautiful. |

Thanks to the kind brave souls who came out in the rain Saturday, April 12th for our first Stewart Park Cleanup of the year! The small but mighty group of volunteers cleaned up an impressive amount of trash and also left the Picnic Pavilion windows sparkling! The Finger Lakes Film Trail (FLFT) presents Silent Films on Cayuga Lake: The Wharton Studio Story, a new multimedia exhibit at the Cayuga Museum of History and Art /Case Research Lab in Auburn, NY. The installation,designed and curated by Wharton Studio Museum, focuses on the history of the motion picture studio in Ithaca's Stewart Park, and runs through 2025! Take a trip to lovely Auburn -- birthplace of the talkies -- and have a look! The FLFT is a tourism initiative created by Wharton Studio Museum, the Cayuga Museum and the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, to celebrate the role the Finger Lakes Region played in the early years of the motion picture industry. |

We invite you to a tour of historic Stewart Park hosted by Friends of Stewart Park, Wharton Studio Museum & Historic Ithaca. The tour will focus on the park's history and its current revitalization. This tour will be walking throughout the park please be sure to wear proper footwear and bring a water bottle. Meet on the Waterfront Trail in front of the Picnic “Large” Pavilion. |
