Supporting the Park and Trail

Stewart Park — Ithaca's Lakehouse
December 22, 2020
Dear Park and Trail Supporters,

"When I come down to Stewart Park, I always notice how people of all ages, of all walks of life, use this park on a regular basis.  That's a beautiful thing."

This is what Dan Segal of the Plantsmen Nursery recently told us.  And it's true.  As this pandemic has taken a toll on our community and world, visitors of all stripes have flocked to public parks across the country in unprecedented numbers, and Stewart Park is no exception.

Stewart Park and the Cayuga Waterfront Trail have risen to the occasion, providing you with scenic safe outdoor spaces to recreate, relax, and find rejuvenation.  More than ever, our lovely lakefront park has become our community’s outdoor conference room, day care center, gym, and social destination, providing places for daily activities to continue—safely.

We are so grateful to supporters like you who have helped Friends of Stewart Park in our efforts to prepare the Park and Trail to meet community needs during this and beyond.

This season of giving our goal is to help close the gap between the care Stewart Park receives and the love and attention it deserves by raising $20,000 by December 31. We can’t do this without your help.

Your support is more important than ever.  You can make a gift online at www.friendsofstewartpark.org, or you can give us a call at (607) 319-4766. Many thanks!

Sincerely,
