THIS THURSDAY, February 28th, at 7:30pm, Friends of Stewart Park hosts its 3rd Wild About Stewart Park benefit. This one-of-a-kind photography and music event supports our ongoing park revitalization efforts.
Wild About Stewart Park is a wonderful opportunity to see beautiful bird photographs from local photographers Sarah Blodgett and Rachel Hogancamp; as well as stellar images of native plants and landscapes by photographer Dan Segal of the Plantsmen Nursery, all saturating the big-screen at Cinemapolis!
Live music by Tim Ball, Dave Davies, Tom Hodgson, and our own Rick Manning (FSP’s Executive Director).
This is a popular event each year, and the best way to ensure you have a seat is to get your tickets in advance!
Tickets for Wild About Stewart Park are available at Brown Paper Tickets or at the door. Sliding scale ticket prices begin at $15, with the suggested donation of $25. All proceeds support FSP’s park revitalization efforts, specifically the upcoming construction of the Inclusive Playground this spring/summer. We urge you to get your tickets in advance!
The Wild About Stewart Park benefit is also the opening presentation of the Ithaca Native Landscape Symposium on March 1 and 2 at Cinemapolis. Learn more about the symposium at www.ithacanativelandscape.com.
