Revitalization Projects

REVITALIZE! Stewart Park

In the 1890s, the Ithaca Street Railway opened Renwick Park, a beautiful lakefront destination. In 1921, the City of Ithaca purchased the park and opened it for public use. Now, as we approach the park’s centennial in 2021, the Friends of Stewart Park and the City of Ithaca are working together to plan, fundraise for, and implement a variety of projects that will preserve and bring new life to Stewart Park.
