About Us

Friends of Stewart Park (FSP) is a public nonprofit organization formed in 2011 to spearhead the revitalization of Stewart Park, the City of Ithaca’s scenic historic park along the southern shore of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. Friends of Stewart Park grew out of the process involved in creating the Stewart Park Rehabilitation Action Plan. FSP works in partnership with the park’s owner, the City of Ithaca, and with many community organizations and park stakeholders. We are 11 board members, 300 friends, and we are growing. Sign up for our e-Newsletter to stay informed about upcoming FSP activities and to help us grow. If you are interested in becoming even more involved as a Board or Committee member, or dedicated volunteer, please contact us directly.
